International Tax Consultant

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant to join the International Tax team within the Tax & Legal Department at the Kyiv office.

The role will involve:

• Doing research and drafting tax advice (memorandums, presentations, etc) on the following matters:

taxation of individuals;

tax residency status and immigration of individuals;

ownership structuring of personal assets for individuals;

other various individual tax matters in Ukraine and foreign jurisdictions.

• Participation in implementation of international tax structures and ongoing communication with foreign Deloitte offices and/or service providers.
• Calculation of personal taxes for individuals. Preparation and submission of tax returns to the tax authorities.
• Presentation of the clients' interests in negotiations with the state authorities (tax authorities, customs authorities, etc).

To be considered you should possess:

• University Degree (Law / Finance / Economics is preferable).
• Fluency in English is a must (both written and spoken proficiency required).
• 1-3 years in Legal, Taxation or Finance.
• Proficiency in using MS Office (Excel, Power Point, Word).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability and willingness to work in a multicultural team.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, ability to learn quickly.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and accuracy.
