Junior Finance Consultant

Deloitte is seeking a Consultant (entry-level) to join the Finance Transformation Group within the Consulting department at the Kyiv office.

As a Consultant in Finance Transformation Group, you will be able to work with our professional team on the development of accounting policies, development of business requirements for  ERP reporting systems implementation, accounting and reporting process improvements or redesign. 

As part of this team, you will work with high-profile private, multinationals and public companies in a variety of industry sectors. You will have the opportunity and support to take on responsibility early on, making a real contribution from day one.

The role will involve:

• Diagnostics, analysis, reengineering of business processes in finance departments, including period closing process optimization (Fast Close);
• Methodological support and development of business requirements for accounting and ERP systems implementation;
• Design of business processes and methodologies related to budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, working capital and liquidity management processes;
• Design and development of corporate accounting standards, policies and methodologies;
• Information research and analysis, making presentations;
• Support of clients meetings preparation, meetings participation;
• Involvement in preparation of client deliverables, reports and other project-related documentation.

To be considered you should possess:

• Higher education (or incomplete higher education ) in accounting, finance, economics, economic analysis;
• Basic knowledge of Ukrainian accounting standards (UAS);
• Basic knowledge of IFRS (as an advantage);
• Knowledge of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint;
• Knowledge of BI, business process flows, project management solutions will be a plus;
• Upper-intermediate level of oral and written English;
• Ability to work in a team and manage multiple engagements;
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills;
• High degree of self-motivation and strong career aspirations;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and high quality standards;
• Strong communication skills;
