Junior actuarial business analyst

Deloitte is seeking an Actuarial business analyst to join the Financial Services Institutions group within the Risk Advisory Department at the Kyiv office.

The role will involve:

• Risk and capital modelling/optimization,
• Valuation of liabilities under IFRS and Solvency II,
• Acting as the actuarial function for insurance companies,
• Valuation and advice related to pension and employee benefits matters,
• Assisting in due diligence with respect to actuarial aspects.

Requirements:

• (Pursuing) a Master's degree in Natural Sciences (Math, Statistics, Informatics, Economics, Physics, Engineering),
• Interested to start your career in an actuarial-oriented position, in life or non-life insurance, or in general risk management, reporting or valuation,
• Familiarity with life and non-life insurance reserve calculation requirements and mechanics,
• Confident in Excel,
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills,
• Strong communication skills with ability to resist to pressure,
• VBA, Python, R or any other programming language is a plus,
• Experience in insurance is a plus.
