Consultant - Accounting Advisory(Finance Transformation Group) - Consulting Department

As a Consultant in Accounting Advisory, you will be able to work with our professional team on development of accounting policies, development of business requirements for accounting and ERP reporting systems implementation, accounting and reporting process improvements or redesign. You will be responsible for preparation of project deliverables while making use of your own technical knowledge and soft skills, direct negotiation with the client during analysis and project deliverables preparation and approval.

As part of this team, you will work with high-profile private, multinationals and public companies in a variety of industry sectors. You will have the opportunity and support to take on responsibility early on, making a real contribution from day one.

The role will involve:

• Reporting to the team leaderand/or project manager
• Take part in projects delivery:

o Design and development of corporate accounting standards, policies and methodologies in accordance with UAS, IFRS

o Diagnostics, analysis, Reengineering of business processes in finance departments, including assistance in forming IFRS departments, and reduction of closing period (Fast Close)

o Methodological support in preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS (transformation and consolidation)

o Methodological support and development of business requirements for accounting and ERP reporting systems implementation

o Communication with clients and consulting them on various IFRS methodological issues

• Working on any assignment that helps the team and contributes to the department's goals
• Developing project deliverables and meeting all deadlines
• Understanding the client's needs and addressing them in the deliverables

To be considered you should possess:

• Higher education in accounting, finance, economics or business
• 2+ years working in international audit or consulting company or in relevant positions with an international or a large Ukrainian company: in finance departments in IFRS transformation, consolidation or reporting units.
• Practical experience in preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS
• Professional qualifications, completed or in progress, such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA (would be considered as significant advantage)
• Advanced user of MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Visio
• Knowledge of financial module of ERP systems (Oracle, SAP, 1С) is an advantage
• Upper-intermediate level of oral and written English
