Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer (IOT Project)

We are looking for a Middle/Senior DevOps Engineer who will join our team to ensure reliability and robustness to the solution delivered to the customers. You will work on a project in the enterprise heat project area for a leading European supplier of eco-friendly, energy-efficient indoor climate solutions.

The project requires high skill developers with strong analytical mindset, able to work independently in conditions of limited requirements, able to generate new ideas and propose different scenarios and implement them in the most efficient way considering already established dev practices and customer’s needs.

CUSTOMER

Our customer is a leading European supplier of eco-friendly, energy-efficient indoor climate solutions with the mission to create modern climate comfort in all types of buildings using renewable energy sources and the latest technology.

PROJECT

We are hiring to bring new members to our existing customer in the enterprise heat project area. As a Front-end Developer, you will be working with the extremely innovative and cloud-based web application which gives user an ability of a remote control and monitoring of IoT devices.

We are working in tight teams of 3 to 10 developers per project. There are 40+ developers working for the same customer in a group of related projects. Considering Covid situation in the world, major part of team members is working remotely. All the teams are distributed, developers are situated in different countries, max time shift +- 5-6h.

REQUIREMENTS

• At least 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Good experience in fundamentals of cloud services: MS Azure services, cost optimizations, security practices implementation, data migrations (Data Factory), IoT Hub configuration, work with Service Fabric and Azure Function Apps
• Understanding and practical experience in CI/CD
• Experience in Deployment Automation tooling: Azure DevOps, Jenkins, TFS, etc.
• Experience with Kubernetes
• At least Intermediate level of spoken and written English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain cloud infrastructure
• Implement automation tools and frameworks (CI/CD pipelines)
• Participating in tasks related to controlling, scheduling, planning and doing the deployment of releases to different environments, ensuring that the integrity of live environments is protected and that the correct components are released
• Collaborate with team members to improve the project’s engineering tools, systems and procedures, data security
• Maintain and monitor all network, security and computer systems to meet the project’s current and future requirements
• Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects
• Work alongside project management teams to successfully monitor progress and implementation of projects
