Senior DevOps Engineer (E-commerce Platform)

CUSTOMER

Our client is building a platform that enables Developers and DevOps Engineers to ship high-quality software quickly while taming configuration, infrastructure, ongoing operation, and security.

PROJECT

We’re building this platform so that you and other developers can have a simple way to create, manage, and discover services in your organization.

You’ll be working with our small and growing team of seasoned Developers and DevOps Engineers. Expect to have lots of impact beyond the product experience and a seat at the table helping us craft the company’s vision.

REQUIREMENTS

• 4 years’ experience working with Linux
• Experience with CI/CD tools (TeamCity, Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
• 2+ years’ experience working with AWS Cloud providers
• Knowledge of Kubernetes
• Hands-on experience with scripting languages (Bash/Python)
• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Terraform, CloudFormation, Puppet)
• Experience with DB (MySQL, PostgreSQL), no-SQL DB (Redis, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cassandra) and knowledge of a little bit more than just how to install them
• Good knowledge and understanding in the area of the web- and app- technology/servers (Apache, Nginx, Tomcat)
• Deep understanding of Docker concepts and Docker/docker-compose usage
• Experience with Atlassian stack (Jira, Confluence)
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Take part in environment/architecture planning
• Automate CI/CD and other processes on a project
• Optimize the existing environments/structure
• Design operational playbooks and policies supporting organizational security posture
• Support our development for existing environments
• Consult development team on infrastructure-related questions
