Our customer is a global technology and services US company that helps publishers make more revenue from their user base and run their businesses more efficiently. This purpose drives every decision they make; it’s at the heart of every new tool they roll out.

PROJECT 

We are cooperating with a global innovation company, which provides an all-inclusive solution to manage every aspect of the ad ecosystem for digital publishers through machine learning technology. To keep pace with their explosive growth, we are currently seeking a JavaScript Developer. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design separate components, modules, classes, databases, tables
• Code, debug, document, and maintain portions of software
• Participate in the estimation and planning sessions
• Contribute to the development of technical project documentation and user documentation
• Implement new features and support existing ones
• Actively participate in product development
• Spread technical excellence and strive for a high-quality product

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of coding JavaScript experience
• Proficiency with HTML5 and CSS3
• Advanced knowledge of JavaScript with a strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals
• Strong knowledge of common design patterns and how they can be applied to JavaScript
• Demonstrable understanding of unit testing methodologies, mainly as used in JavaScript development
• Experience working with APIs, either integrating a third-party API or creating your own when necessary
• Experience with responsive design and cross-platform scripting for desktop/mobile
• Facility with source control, notably Git and Github, as used in multi-developer projects
• Experience participating in code reviews
• The communications skills and temperament needed to succeed when providing technical leadership and mentorship to other developers

NICE TO HAVE:

• Experience with video for the web, particularly HTML5 video
• Experience with JavaScript designed to be embedded in third-party Web pages
• Experience with advertising units, terminology, and standards, such as VAST and VPAID
• Experience with the use of modular JavaScript
• Experience working in a team using Agile development and project management practices
• Experience developing for mobile apps and/or OTT devices
• Experience managing other developers
• Knowledge of edge computing technologies and use cases
• Knowledge of data warehousing and processing best practices
