PR Manager/Lead

Sigma Software Labs, a platform for startups and small IT companies, is seeking a PR Manager. We are the only business incubator in Ukraine, based on an IT service company. Sigma Software Labs provides its residents with modern office space and business infrastructure, access to global markets, investment funds, and all kinds of assistance to grow the residents’ companies faster.

As a part of this position, you will closely work with the Ukrainian and global startup community. Your main goals will be to strengthen Sigma Software Labs network and brand, creating content that authentically expresses the business culture, demonstrating the company’s unique selling points, and engaging new residents and partners.

Responsibilities:

THERE ARE TWO MAIN AREAS YOU WILL NEED TO COORDINATE:

1. Raise media outreach and company brand. Plan and implement Sigma Software Labs PR strategy

Manage Sigma Software Labs Social Accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter) on a regular basis (up to 2 posts daily on each platform) and timely react to all activities associated with them (mentions, comments, reposts)

Develop relevant content topics that will match the company’s target customers

Collaborate with key tech media resources in Ukraine and globally, develop relations with journalists, and conduct online/offline events: webinars, meetups, and startup pitches. Prepare content and promotion campaigns, coordinate the design team

Engage media/information partners and speakers

2.Build relationships with potential and existing residents and partners 

Search and establish communication with startups. Organize their evaluation process and lead them to the investment stage within the company

Search for partners in Ukraine and globally, establish partnerships with them by offering either membership or joint projects with VC funds, accelerators, professional associations, communities, event organizers

Requirements:

Experience in the field of PR in tech at least for 2 years

Higher education (journalism/philology/marketing/PR)

Strong experience in SMM, day-to-day content publishing across all platforms

Excellent communication, presentation, and copywriting skills in Ukrainian/English and the ability to take an idea from a thought to a full-blown message

At least minor experience in working with startup or investment field, international companies/clients

Understanding of design trends in tech media and events

Good self-discipline, project management skills, and problem-solving abilities in a fast-changing environment
