Senior Business Analyst (Fintech)

As a Business Analyst, you will be developing creative solutions for real business challenges. You will have a chance to create a product vision and specifications fitting particular projects’ needs. You will manage requirements for the platform customization, including the requirements for new features, changes to existing features, and integration requirements. PROJECT

We are developing an MVP of an Online Lending Platform for our foreign client. The Customer wants to have the credit solution, which provides the fastest and easiest credit agreement between lender and borrower. The solution will have automatic borrower validation with 3rd party open credit history data. The next stage is using blockchain technology for reselling of the existing loan package. The project is a great opportunity to work in a startup environment and build a fintech product from scratch, taking a deep dive into the analysis of client needs, analysis of market requirements, constraints and opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Translating the Market Requirements into Product Requirements suitable for Engineering
• Directly communicating with external stakeholders to elicit, clarify, and prioritize requirements
• Prioritizing requirements and defining the scope
• Managing the product backlog
• Providing engineering point of view to external stakeholders (explaining constraints/resolution plans/budget influence, etc.)
• Demonstrating the team’s interim results and aligning with further client expectations
• Performing change management
• Performing market analysis
• Standardizing the collection of business and solution requirements, utilizing best practices for effective facilitation, requirements elicitation, documenting, prototyping and modeling
• Participating in pre-sales activities to elicit high-level scope and prepare required deliverables

REQUIREMENTS

• 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst
• Strong experience in documenting requirements (knowledge of approaches and tools for requirements specification on a different level of details)
• Understanding of key business analysis tasks, elements, and techniques (BABOK)
• Ability to manage requirements and changes
• Understanding of Agile methodology
• Ability to work with uncertainty and having the ability to get the required information and to transfer it into a usable state that will be clear for the development team
• Understanding of project goals and ability to form MVP requirements
• Advanced level of English
• Being a fast and enthusiastic learner
• Ability and desire to play Product Owner role

WILL BE A PLUS:

• Experience in finance domain, deposit and lending products, online banking applications
• Experience in pre-sales activities
• Business Analysis certification (CBAP, CCBA, PMI-PBA)
• Product Ownership certification (CSPO, PSPO, ICP-APO)
