Junior Full Stack .NET Developer (Document Management System)

We are looking for a Junior .NET Developer to work on a Danish Document Management System platform!

Customer:

Our Danish customer owns a large enterprise document management platform. The product is widely used in the public sector and constantly evolves and develops.

The customer has a great experience in facilitating and stabilizing grants administration by simplifying complex processes. The platform is used by applicants, decision-makers, case officers and administrators quickly and safely through the grants system so that the funding reaches the private individuals to whom it makes a difference - securely, quickly and well-documented.

Project: 

We work on a system for preservation of digital information over time. It is a part of a document management platform consisting of several products. The project goal is to enhance functionality of the platform used in Danish public sector for grants management.

The customer would like to enhance their team and Sigma is helping with it.

So, the first challenges will be:

to get familiarized with the enterprise-level product

to meet the high quality standards of the code

to work in distributed, international team

Technological stack:

.NET Core 3.1

Angular 9.1

SQL Server

Responsibilities:

• Code, debug, document, and maintain portions of software
• Perform unit and integration testing
• Participate in peer code reviews
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Contribute to development of technical project documentation and user documentation
• Provide assistance to QA engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of software installation and its operation
• Follow the best engineering practices, the quality criteria set forth on the project, and EQMS requirements
• Report status and progress according to the project and Company demands
• Spot current deficiencies in the development process, adopted procedures and engineering practices, environment configurations, etc., and suggest improvements

Requirements:

• At least 1+ year of experience as a software engineer in the web development environment
• Experience with object-oriented design of applications: OOP, SOLID
• Knowledge and practical experience in the areas of .NET Framework, C#
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript
• Basic knowledge of SQL Server
• Good to have: SOLR, Git and CI/CD process
• At least Intermediate level of written and spoken English
• Experience in commercial software development is a plus
