Technical Product Owner

We are looking for an experienced Technical Product Owner to build a new Product, revolutionizing the Application Security domain.

Customer is the global leader in software security solutions for modern enterprise software development. Customer delivers the industry's most comprehensive Software Security Platform that unifies with DevOps and provides static and interactive application security testing, software composition analysis, and developer application security awareness and training programs to reduce and remediate risk from software vulnerabilities. Product is trusted by more than 40 percent of the Fortune 100 and half of the Fortune 50, including leading organizations such as SAP, Samsung, and Salesforce.com.

The main goal of the project is to develop a unique cloud-based web application to perform static code analysis. Not only development, but also DevOps and security teams will use this platform.

The major advantages of the product for end-users are - possibility to scan source code, check vulnerability, and fix detected vulnerability issues early on the development stage. The best thing is that the application will work for over 25 coding and scripting languages.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all lifecycle stages for a product
• Translate product strategy into detailed requirements
• Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with optimal time-to-market, quality, and resources
• Scope and prioritize activities based on business and customer impact
• Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps, and generate new creative ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience, and drive growth
• Serve as an in-house expert for our product and become the go-to person for all functional and non-functional issues

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Product Manager/Product Owner in organizations implementing Agile development process
• Development background and/or strong technical background
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science (or related) or equivalent experience
• Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle
• Proven ability to work in a fast pace, high load, multicultural business environment
• Creative with proven ability to identify challenges, define solutions, challenge technical designs and efforts and execute successfully
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and great presentation skills
• Passion about User experience, knowledge in UI/UX requirement definitions, prototyping, and wireframing

Would be a plus:

• Previous experience building and launching a new product from scratch in a startup company/accelerator mode
• Hands-on experience with a public cloud provider
• Experience in highly technical products, security products, development ecosystem products
