Strong Middle DevOps Engineer (Telecom)

The project is about development of a deployment/infrastructure platform for customer's applications. Microservices comprize a customer support system for a large enterprise. Developers are the main users of the solution. 

Project is developed using Ansible, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Terraform, etc.       

Responsibilities:

• Develop a part of a big deployment solution
• Influence and contribute to technical architecture 
• Participate in the entire development lifecycle, from requirements to deployment 
• Document the developed solution
• Provide test and behavior-driven development (TDD, BDD) 
• Get things done and out there 

Requirements:

• Strong CI/CD experience: should have experience in setting up from scratch CI pipelines (Jenkins preferred, but any CI tool is fine)
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Ansible, Bash, scripting
• Strong understanding of Dockers
• Basic Kubernetes understanding
• Experience with one of the tools: Terraform, Puppet, Chef or the likes.
• Strong communication skills 
• Passion for growing your skills, tackling interesting tasks and challenging problems 
• Upper-Intermediate level of English

Nice to have:

• Kubernetes experience
• Helm experience
• Experience in web back end development is a plus 
• Experience deploying to cloud environments (AWS, IBM) 
• Exposure to PaaS
