Business Analyst (Automotive Domain)

Project:

GET (Global Editorial Tools) is internationally usable editorial tools for automotive repair and maintenance information. Related data is spread over many different domains, such as technical data, diagnostics data, repair manuals, labour times, parts, wiring diagrams, etc. Each domain requires a custom tailor made application for most efficient data capture capabilities. The tools need to be accessible from the different international subsidiaries.

As a Business Analyst, you will be involved into adding new great features to the product and its launching on new markets.

Responsibilities:

• Design UML schemes for various data sources
• Participate in estimation and planning sessions
• Contribute to development of technical project documentation and user documentation
• Provide assistance to test engineers and support personnel in solving technical issues of data validation and integration
• Participate in conference calls and face-to-face meetings with the Customer and Customer's partners
• Report status and progress according to the project and Company demands
• Spot current deficiencies in the development process, adopted procedures and engineering practices, environment configurations, etc., and suggest improvements
• Escalate technical issues to the Architect, Team Lead, and Project Manager
• Improve qualification within the area(s) of expertise at various training courses, seminars, and/or other educational organizations

Requirements:

• 4+ years of commercial experience in the IT industry developing web solutions
• Analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements
• Capable of drafting functional/business/system specifications
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations
• Fair knowledge and understanding of technology concepts, including the ability to adapt quickly
• Excellent relationship management and Client Coordination skills
• Ability to document test scenarios and acceptance criteria
• Ability to review test case documents
• At least Upper-Intermediate level of English
