Business Analyst (Document Management System)

Customer: 

Our Swedish customer owns a large enterprise level platform. The product is widely used in private sectors and constantly evolves and develops.

 

Project: 

Sigma Software team is working on a modern platform for managing cases, documents, meetings, notes, and work processes. It is a leading product on its ECM systems market. 

This solution also creates a great opportunity for automation and, thus, complex workflows simplifying.

The project status is maintenance and active development stages with the goal to obtain modular architecture, increasing maintainability, and sales perspectives. Major releases are several times a year. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Requirements Analysis and maintenance
  • User documentation management
  • External communication on product competency level
  • Define specifications and utilize business analysis skills to document customer processes
  • Actively participate in backlog grooming and feature decomposition, Take part in ownership of work breakdown structure
  • Work with customers via workshops, interviews, and observations to build an understanding of how a solution might meet their needs
  • Act as an independent reviewer of the release quality offering a voice outside of the core development team to aid with release decisions
  • Serve as a customer expert for product questions and queries that may arise internally or externally related to the use of products and services
  • Work with team members with respect to customer meetings and presentations, be comfortable demonstrating/describing product capabilities and product/market directions

 

Requirements: 

  • 2+ years of professional experience in an analytical role
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and documentation management skills
  • Proven experience in eliciting requirements
  • Prior experience with enterprise software
  • Ability to facilitate, plan, and manage workshops and brainstorm sessions with development team to investigate requirements and prepare vision of solution
  • Strong and well balanced technical and business skills to effectively present ideas to Development team and PdM
  • Good at identifying, analyzing, and challenging business needs
  • Good understanding of project and software lifecycle management
  • Good understanding of working in agile environments with eventual requirements and priorities change
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including presentations
  • Ability to document test scenarios and acceptance criteria
  • At least Upper-Intermediate level of English (both written and spoken)
