Product Manager (Cloud Managment System)

Project:

Our project helps IT partners be more successful in the cloud, and it is just getting started. Client's products are 100% partner channel focused. They have helped over 20,000 global partners build successful cloud businesses by making it easy to migrate, backup, and manage their customers in the cloud.

The product we are developing is intended to facilitate and centralize the management of different SaaS cloud subscriptions for small and medium-sized businesses.

The main purpose is to efficiently onboard the new users by means of Cross-SaaS onboarding automation. 

Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed knowledge of specific market segments, target end-customers, and our Customer products
• Perform market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities for the Customer to innovate on behalf of our customers
• Track and prioritize the ongoing backlog of functional and non-functional product requirements, documented as epics, stories, and designs
• Assume product ownership role as part of the Agile development process, engaging deeply in sprint planning and validation
• Maintain a prioritized backlog of defects, driving these through the development process to continuously improve quality
• Work with other product management team members to maintain a coordinated product roadmap
• Understand stakeholder requirements and translate them into end-to-end scenarios with detailed functional requirements as key input to the software design process
• Assist backlog grooming to prioritize, decompose & estimate stories
• Define and manage the user experience with the Design team
• Drive the instrumentation of our applications for analytic performance and usage statistics
• Work with our technical writing and marketing teams to create documentation, marketing content, and go-to-market deliverables
• Maintain and clearly communicate project plans, status, and roadmap to product leadership and other stakeholders on an ongoing basis

Requirements:

• 5+ years of cloud and/or enterprise software experience in product management, including technical product management and/or management of products intended for technology professionals
• Product management, planning, or equivalent experience with exposure to product and software development cycles and engineering teams
• Technical aptitude needed to understand the implications of technical product decisions
• Ability to multitask and manage simultaneous projects
• Flexible hours for support across time zones
• Ability to interpret and translate requirements written in English into local language(s)
• Ability to facilitate software product management delivery between on/offshore teams
• Desire to own decisions and take responsibility for outcomes
• Scrum Product Owner and/or Scrum Master certification highly desired
• Bachelor's degree in business or technology required
• Upper-Intermediate level of English and higher
• Backgrounds in any of the following areas is a significant plus:
• IT Services Process Management Software (e.g., helpdesk management, professional service management)
• IT Management tools (e.g., remote management tools, network monitoring and management, identity and access management)
• IT Security
• SaaS Administration, Asset Management, Security
