Development Team Lead (.NET)

Edsson Ukraine, the development center of the international company Edsson Software is looking for Technical Delivery Manager. We offer participation in the development of large web-based solutions for the world's major player of end-to-end cash management and cash supply chain market based on modern architecture.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with business owners for presenting technical input and solutions
• Provide technical input into tactical and strategic business projects
• Accountable for estimation of implementation efforts
• Design and implement policies and processes to ensure high quality, high-performance software
• Accountable for the development of large web-based products
• Responsible for delivering technical deliverables on time and on budget
• Ensure that delivered solutions fit to product strategy and architecture
• Manage technical risks and interdependencies
• Work closely with product owners, enterprise architect, development team, external technical experts and client delivery managers to define product backlog and release plan
• Mentor technical leads
• Design software improvements
• Plan, design, create and maintain products infrastructure
• Work with end clients to define infrastructure design
  

Requirements:

• Background in software engineering, a degree in computer science or related technical discipline 
• 5+ years of commercial experience in C# .NET 
• 3+ years in management positions of team lead, project manager or delivery manager 
• Excellent communication (in English), including presentation, negotiation and client relationship management skills 
• Excellent communication (in English) through multiple channels, including email, phone and collaboration tools as well as face-to-face meetings 
• Stakeholder management - in all directions including Senior Management, Development Team, and the wider business 
• Communication (written and verbal) - the ability to communicate bad news in a clear but diplomatic way, with the appropriate caveats, justifications and/or options 
• Ability to translate and condense complex technical issues/ideas into a business-focused message for a non-technical audience 
• Ability to understand business concepts and ideas, and convey to a technical audience 
• Ability to confidently work in a corporate environment with changing circumstances and occasionally incomplete information 
• Ability to engage with the client, and their clients in technology discussions 
• Experience in software architecture design 
• Experience in strategic migrations from legacy technology stacks 
• Experience in setting up, improving and supervising software delivery processes 
• Experience in migration to the cloud, continuous integration, etc. 
• Good understanding of OOP, Design Patterns, code analysis, and refactoring principles 
• Strong experience in Web Application development on a .NET technology stack

Foreign languages:

• English upper intermediate level or higher, both verbal and written

As a plus:

• Experience with TFS, StyleCop
• Experience in developing WCF solutions 
• Experience in developing with DevExpress, HTML5 
• Experience in working with foreign clients 
• Experience in developing Web Application with ASP.NET Web Forms 
• Foreign passport, readiness for business trips to European countries
