Java Software Engineer

Required expertise:

• Java 8 core, design patterns, object oriented programming
• Spring Framework / MVC
• Maven, Gradle, Mockito, JUnit
• ANSI SQL, Hibernate
• HTTP / JSON / REST API / JWT / OAuth (v1, v2)
• GitHub, Linux commands

Desirable skills:

• Spring Boot, Security
• Java threading and asynchronous processing
• Java profiling, monitoring, centralized log collection (ELK)
• Amazon Web Services (AWS): Lambda, ElastiCache (Redis), SQS, SNS, S3, Elasticsearch
• OWASP security vulnerabilities for web applications
• PostgreSQL specific SQL syntax
• CI / CD, AWS CodeBuild / CodeDeploy / CodePipeline / CodeStar, TeamCity
• Docker containers, AWS ECS, microservices
• Kafka, AWS Kinesis
• Azure Cloud, Google Cloud Platform
• HTML, CSS, JavaScript
