Senior Java Developer for Austrian project

Your tasks:  

• Develop an understanding of the challenges and optimization potentials of report generation within a bank
• Gather the main requirements for the process part that shall be automated (together with the user)
• Develop SW components in an agile approach
• Support users to integrate the SW components in their daily operation with the focus on effort reduction and increase of speed and data quality
• Participate and actively contribute in the regular Scrum meetings (daily stand-up, sprint planning, release planning, etc.)

We expect:

• Deep experience with Java (incl. Spring Framework + Boot, REST Services, XML, JSON)
• Good knowledge of SQL and IDEs (Eclipse preferred, JDeveloper or IntelliJ as an option)
• Experience with one or more DBMSs (Oracle/MySQL/PostgreSQL/ SQL/Server/Teradata)
• Experience with setup and management of webservers (ideally Apache Tomcat)
• Experience with source code management solutions (GIT preferred, SVN as an option)
• Good knowledge of operating systems (Linux, Windows)
• Open and team-minded personality and communication skills
• Willingness to work in an agile environment
• Good command of English (mandatory)
• Willingness to travel (Austria/Vienna)
