Junior / Middle QA Engineer

Numerical Technologies, a leading provider of software development and consultancy services for financial institutions, is looking for QA Engineer who will be responsible for testing sophisticated financial applications.

This position is a chance to work hand-in-hand with expert quantitative researchers and quantitative engineers to create and implement research and simulation tools that leverage existing automated trading software and sophisticated statistical techniques and technologies. 

What will you be doing?

• Create and maintain test documentation (checklists, test cases, bug-reports).
• Execute manual tests (functional, regression, cross platform).
• Document and maintain identified defects in Jira.
• API testing using Postman, Swagger.
• Requirement analysis.

What are we looking for?

• At least 1 year of working experience as QA.
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum, Kanban development processes.
• Understanding of client-server architecture.
• Postman, Swagger.
• JSON, XML.
• Bug-tracking systems (e.g. JIRA).
• Excel skills (sorting and filtering data, writing formulas, macros understanding).
• Intermediate level of English or higher.
