Engineering Manager (IRC170401)

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Engineering Manager to join our team.

An AI-based real-time brand placement and replacement solution for Media Owners and Streaming Platforms. The platform is changing media streaming reality and giving the power of monetization back to streamers and premium content owners through brand placement opportunities that mesh perfectly with live streaming feeds.

Requirements:

• The total experience is 8+ years, including min 2+ years in a management role
• Headcount of 30+ people managed directly or managing 2+ accounts simultaneously
• Strong educational background, preferably in the fields of computer science or engineering for technical project managers
• Deep technical domain expertise in a specific industry, as well as solid knowledge of key technologies for that domain
• Proven experience in establishing / tailoring project processes, capability to recognize weak points, risks, and dependencies, and ability to address them in a fast manner
• Strong grasp of modern SDLC methodologies, management principles, and techniques
• Autonomy, versatility, and proactivity are a must. Fulfilling commitments and willingness to show initiative
• Proven successful experience in pre-sales activities
• PMP or other related certification in the field is a big advantage
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills

Responsibilities:

Engineering Manager who will be responsible for program development on one hand and supporting the day-to-day project planning and execution on the other. This position will include driving technical leadership, project planning, communication, and management reporting, as well as business development.

You will design, produce and maintain the solution in compliance with the roadmap and release plans, and meet the requirements defined by stakeholders

• Start leading 1-2 not-related accounts
• Collaborate with the Product Manager on the product definition, and backlog refinement, participate in functionality analysis and risks
• Drive meetings, ensure resources availability and dependencies within and outside the GlobalLogic team, coordinate internal resources for the flawless execution of the project
• Track project progress, and measure performance using appropriate systems, tools, and techniques
• Collaborate with the Chief Architect and Team Leads, play a role of a technical consultant if needed
• Manage the team as Project Manager, being the relay of the HR function within the team (setting objectives, IDPs, 1?1 sessions, validating leaves, training needs, etc.)
• Active participation in pre-sales activities and business development, including the creation of company offerings and expertise sharing
