Middle JavaScript AQA Engineer (IRC159814)

GlobalLogic is inviting an experienced Middle JavaScript AQA Engineer to join our engineering team.

Project for one of the largest multinational corporations that specialize in Internet-related services. The project consisted of two independent multi-service/multi-cluster applications focused on advertising technologies and analytics. Applications used many Google APIs and Cloud Platform services, such as Kubernetes orchestration system, Cloud Storage (including storage triggers), Cloud Functions, Cloud Scheduler, Pub/Sub communication, Big Query, CloudSQL (Postgres), Google App Scripts, Google Ads API, Google Adwords API

Requirements:

• 3+ years in Software testing including automation
• Expertise in developing complex test automation and scripts using Python and/or JavaScript for desktop and mobile web applications
• Experience designing and running performance, accessibility, SEO, and security tests
• Expertise in testing web service APIs and related technologies (REST, JSON, XML)
• Experience with automation end-to-end test frameworks such as Cypress and Webdriver.IO
• Ability to analyze error logs, session logs, access logs, and assist engineers by utilizing basic debugging techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience writing and executing QA test plans
• Upper-Intermediate+ English

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable test automation
• Effectively communicate and collaborate with the QA and Development teams to develop automation processes and plans
• Develop detailed automated tests from test plans, test cases, and functional specs
• Diagnose, debug and perform root-cause analysis of issues and defects
• Actively participate in test planning discussions to assure automation coverage is continuously improving
