Middle Manual QA Engineer (IRC116625)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Middle Manual QA Engineer to join its Lviv office.

Today, in the technological world, we are used to receiving information without leaving home. Our application helps to establish a video conference among people in few small steps. On one side of the line, there is a client who wants to receive information from an expert in a certain area, and on another side, there is a required expert. Around the videoconference, there is a huge amount of functionality that helps this expert to get all necessary information about the client such as an electronic signature, a snapshot from the client’s webcam, sharing documents, and much more. All these features are easily configured on the admin panel in a couple of clicks. The application covers the most popular platforms today: mobile, web, desktop. Who is using this app? Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience as Manual QA
• High experience in testing cross-platform/cross-browser web-based solution
• Experience/good understanding of testing APIs/Web-Services (SOAP/REST)
• Good knowledge of software testing methodologies and techniques
• Skills in the creation of Test Documentation (test cases, checklists, etc.)
• Understanding of Networking protocols and networks
• Technical background and grasp, analytical mind with strong investigation skills
• Good problem-solving abilities and a strong passion to learn new things
• Pro-activeness and strong communication skills
• English: Intermediate Strong English level

Will be a plus:

• Knowledge of Linux/Unix-based operating systems (bash/ssh/ps/grep etc.)
• Basic knowledge of shell and/or Python scripting
• Familiarity with Selenium and similar tools is nice to have

• Linux, Bash, SSH, PS

Responsibilities:

• Perform manual testing
• Analyze product requirements
• Create and execute test cases
• Report bugs and verify bug-fixes
• Prepare test reports, provide initial issue analysis
• Close communication with the customer
