Trainee Engineer (IRC97482)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a Trainee Engineer to join its Kyiv office.

A successful candidate would become a part of an experienced team implementing a media indexing service for the huge media production facilities and TV channels. The team is responsible for the distributed service implementation which has to be available 24/7 with high scalability and very strong performance requirements.

Requirements

• Ready to 4 hours working day with day or evening shifts
• BS degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
• Good understanding of C++ and Python programming languages
• Good understanding of NoSQL database programs
• Good understanding of message broker services
• Ability to work in a multi-site distributed team and on a cross-platform development environment
• Highly motivated and proactive team member
• Strong written and spoken English

Responsibilities

The candidate will be responsible for:

• Participate in the development and bug-fixing for the developed solution
• Participate in the analysis, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the complex parts of the developed solution
• Cooperate with other teams to follow up issues resolution
