.Net Trainee Software Engineer (WPF) (IRC85704)

GlobalLogic Ukraine is inviting a .Net Trainee Software Engineer (WPF) to join its Mykolaiv office.

The client is the world's leading developer of Automatic Identification and Data Collection (AIDC) software. It is a set of Windows desktop and server applications. Over 600,000 companies rely on this software for applications such as receiving, inventory management, product identification, product control, and shipping. Products are sold through a global network of over 1,500 resellers and integrators in 120 countries. The project started in 2006 and, nowadays, we have a friendly team with a great history and traditions. The team consists of PM, 6 developers and 6 testers. Development  technologies are: C#, .NET, WPF, WCF, ASP.NET MVC, C/C++. Testing is well documented and structured. We use all types of testing. Here are tools that we use: MS VS, MS TFS, InstallShield, HP Quality Center, JMeter, VMWare, VSphere, Virtual Box, Acronis.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of C# & .NET

• Good understanding of OOP

• Basic knowledge of databases and SQL

• Windows

• Pre-intermediate English

• Possibility to work full-time

• Strong willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Design and develop components and extensions to existing modules

• Defect investigation, bug fixing, troubleshooting

• Unit and functional testing

• Writing functional and design documentation

• Following design and coding standards accepted in the team

• Work with QA and Test team in order to validate the correctness of the implementation

• Interact with project management both local and overseas, other engineering teams, and other stakeholders as appropriate
