Our customr is a Software Enabled Services Company that provides a broad range of best in class proprietary cloud migration services and helps customers to analyze potential cloud destinations, assess what is eligible to be moved, convert the application stack (physical, virtual or cloud-based databases, data & storage) into the cloud of choice and transition to newly deployed cloud service

Customer's SAAS Cloud Migration Solution solves the challenge of migrating large, complex workloads cross hypervisors into and between Cloud environments. Purposely built for the Cloud, SaaS is a fast, secure, automated Cloud onboarding solution that leverages APIs to mirror current server environments and move them into public, private or hybrid Clouds without interrupting current workload function and performance. The automation enables cloud migration to multiple servers and large workloads to be effectively migrated at the same time, saving time and costs associated with migrations.

Requirements

• Extensive Python programming experience
• Experience with Linux or Windows (data movement, drivers, VM cloning, OS internals, storage, or network stack)
• Experience working with any Cloud platforms will be a plus
• Sysadmin and DevOps background will be a plus
• Systems-level programming will be a plus

• Our customer id the leading Cloud Migration vendor moving physical and virtual servers from Windows or Linux to various Clouds (AWS, VMWare, OpenStack, Google Cloud, Azure). Their software is automated so large clients can migrate hundreds of servers at a timeand technology is unique. Nothing is being installed on the source, yet the solutions creates the Target Cloud environment and moves everything to it, monitoring and reporting every detail in real-time.

• The future team will need to account for vagaries in network topologies, security constraints, various server configurations, device drivers and running applications. There will be a need for learning the details of the major clouds, knowing the internals of Windows and Linux, and studying all the intricacies of the many source servers out in the wild.
