Kubernetes Expert (ID:501)

Infopulse is inviting a talented professional to join our growing team as a Senior DevOps Engineer (Kubernetes) on a full-time remote position.

Areas of responsibility

• Our customer is one of the top European HW and SW producers in telecom area. In cooperation with its Project Management team, our candidate will design, plan and implement Kubernetes to make on-prem application containerized
• Prepare application for migration to the private Cloud in future

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a DevOps role, with experience in telecom solutions preferred
• Strong expertise in Kubernetes, including cluster management, deployment, scaling, and monitoring
• Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in Red Hat OpenShift and its related technologies
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and IP protocols, as well as telecom-specific networking technologies
• Familiarity with IT security best practices, including encryption, certificates, and key management, and their application in telecom solutions
• Experience with automation, configuration management, and provisioning tools, such as Terraform, Helm, and Ansible
• Ability to design and implement resilient and scalable solutions for telecom-specific use cases, including real-time communications and streaming services
• Strong Linux system administration skills, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and their integration with Kubernetes-based environments
• Proficiency in container orchestration tools and related technologies, such as Istio and MetalLB
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and proficiency in English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and provide timely solutions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
