Qualifications

• Higher education, preferably in IT
• Experience with Al RDBMS Oracle 11g, 12c, 19c (5+ years), UNIX/Linux, Oracle DG, Oracle RAC, Networker, CommVault, Oracle CloudControl
• Experience with performance tuning and 24/7 support of global systems
• Knowledge with SQL, PL/SQL, POSIX Shell, (Python would be an asset)
• English: Intermediate and above

Would be an advantage

• Knowledge of the basics of billing systems
• UNIX/Linux administration skills
• Experience in building/maintaining fault-tolerant systems
• Experience with RedHat Cluster/Pacemaker
• Experience in executing code review

Area of responsibilities

• Ensuring the availability of Oracle database in 24/7 mode
• Execution of works on administration of Oracle database
• Fulfillment of user requests
• Interaction with software vendors, integrators, technical support, OS/Hard administrators, testers, and billing administrators
• Optimization of queries and database performance
• DB recovery after failures
• Performing periodic archiving procedures
