SAP Vendor Master Data specialist (ID:10185)

We are looking for a Consultant/Business Analyst with several years of SAP and master data experience to the MasterData Customer & Supplier team.

Our client is an international fashion retail company from Sweden.

As a Vendor MasterData Business Analyst (one of the consultants in an internal customer's SAP team) you are going to be responsible for the entire software life cycle: translating business needs into working software via analysis, its design, development, testing, release, and maintenance. 

You are going to build and configure solutions that are easy to maintain and change, enabling a constant delivery pace to be kept indefinitely. This is achieved through continuous attention to technical excellence and good design, with extensive use of automation.

Areas of Responsibility

• Plan, organize, manage, and control all activities in the projects assigned to you
• Collaborate with other teams and domains to carry out projects and identify Master Data Vendor requirements
• Participate in requirement meetings with the business to define and document the complete scope and map for a current solution
• Receive business requirements and translate them into the activities of a Master Data Vendor 
• Provide system analysis and solution expertise within the master data area
• Have a holistic view of how the solution adds value and ties into the defined business outcomes
• Use knowledge/experience and problem-solving skills to creatively resolve complex issues and choose the best course of action
• Make sure to deliver solutions on time, and identify and eliminate potential waste (e.g. unnecessary documentation, inefficient methodologies etc.) 
• Stabilize solutions, having in mind Data Quality, for example
• Be part of moving to SAP S/4HANA within the area of Vendor\Customer Master Data management 

Requirements 

• 3+ years of experience of design, concepts, principles, and basic configuration in SAP ERP
• Understanding of and work experience from master data in SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA with special focus on Vendor and Customer Master Data
• Inbound and outbound integration know-how regarding SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA
• Ability to work collaboratively and cohesively in a cross-team environment where requirements are not always clear
• Experience from large, global organizations
• Good verbal communication and documentation capacity in English
• Well-developed skills of managing deliverables, as well as time management, communication (oral and written) and organizational skills

Qualifications

• Work experience in global projects with Vendor Master Data 
• Data/information management
• Good understanding of SAP functionality across modules
• Ability and willingness to take on new initiatives/technologies

Will be an asset:

• Experience of working in an agile context
• Experience in moving from SAP ECC into S/4HANA
• Fashion Retail experience
• Experience with Atlassian Jira
• Any customer references
