Senior Application Support Engineer (Linux)

We are looking for a talented Senior IT Engineer to participate in different operational and implementation tasks related to application and business processes support within the IT infrastructure of our customer.

Areas of Responsibility

• Business applications and processes support
• Reproducing dev-related tickets and dev support
• Monitoring systems setup and maintenance
• Operational tickets investigation/resolution
• SOP and Systems documentation development
• Reporting
• Other technical tasks

Qualifications

Profound experience in system administration, design, implementation and maintenance of the following solutions:

• Web servers (Apache Tomcat, Nginx)
• Data Bases (MongoDB, MySQL)
• Monitoring (Nagios, TIG stack)
• Logging (GrayLog, ELK Stack)
• Automation (Ansible, bash)
• ITIL

Basic experience with the following technologies:

• Linux OS (CentOS)
• Network (TCP/IP)
• Basic knowledge of Docker and Docker compose
• Jira ServiceDesk

Personal skills

• Well-developed ability to focus on customer demands and establish partnership relations
• Excellent analytical skills
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Experience in working with a team varying in personalities and psychological characteristics
• Ability to demonstrate a positive approach, flexibility, and initiative
• Well-developed communication skills
• Written and spoken English (Intermediate and above)

Education

• University Degree or the equivalent of it
