Technical Support Engineer (English speaking)

Job responsibilities:

• Providing L1-L3 technical support to users and partners via email, web conferencing, and the phone
• Analyzing, clarifying, and resolving customer queries
• Investigating technical issues, troubleshooting and diagnosing root causes
• Researching, deploying, and configuring different environments with specific software and hardware parts
• Composing knowledge base articles and technical documentation
• Collaborating with other teams

Required:

• Fluent English (both spoken and written) and the ability to communicate effectively in English via both phone and e-mail
• Understanding and basic knowledge of storage, networking, and virtualization technologies
• Experience with administrating/maintaining Windows or Linux based environments
• Confident communication skills - work with globally distributed customers
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive and innovative thinking (masters degree in googling)

Preferred:

• Experience in providing support to customers on their live production systems
• Experience in working with storage and backup infrastructures
• Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V
