Solutions Engineer (English speaking)

Job responsibilities:

• Providing support to prospects, partners, and customers via email, web conferencing, and the phone
• Providing technical presentations and demonstrations of the products to prospects, partners, and customers
• Designing and configuring hardware solutions along with setting up software for the customers
• Preparing project-related documentation
• Collaborating with other teams

Required:

• Fluent English (both spoken and written) and the ability to communicate effectively in English via both phone and e-mail
• Understanding and basic knowledge in backup technologies, technics, and backup software
• Understanding and basic knowledge of networking and virtualization technologies
• General Linux knowledge. Experience with administrating/maintaining Linux and Windows-based environments
• Understanding object storage basics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proactive, and innovative thinking (masters degree in googling)
• Confident communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience with object storage solutions
• Knowledge of Linux storage stack (MDADM, ZFS, LVM, Ceph, etc.)
• Experience with Amazon S3
• Experience with analyzing business benefits and defining value proposition
• Experience in developing technical requirements, solution architecture
• Experience in working with storage and backup infrastructures
