About Project:

Project about the fitness industry. Web platform and mobile application that connects fitness instructors and their students, gives the ability to teach or train online. Main stack will be: Elixir, GOlang, Sapper/Svelte, Postgres db.

Who are we looking for?

• Work experience min 3 years
• English level B1 or higher
• Strong knowledge on backend architecture, knows when and where to making tradeoffs
• Experience in designing and building distributed backend systems handling high volumes of traffic with low-latency
• Expertise in architecting on the backend; familiarity with partnering with frontend experts to make changes fullstack when needed
• Passion to solve complex and challenging problems and make continuous improvements
• Demonstrated knowledge of a cloud platform: GCP, AWS, or similar

Responsibilities:

• You will be responsible for developing new features
• Write code that is easy to understand and easy to change
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Prepare and maintain documentation
• Identify and resolve performance and scalability issues.
• Participate in design discussions, code reviews, and project related team meetings

Pluses:

• Experience at a high-growth startup where you've seen the company grow from launch to production at-scale
• Experience with Elixir or other functional programming languages
• Experience with working on the frontend; we'll be building in Svelte/Sapper
• Experience with native mobile or a cross-platform framework such as Flutter
• Experience building progressive web apps
• Experience building video features
• Experience with two-sided marketplaces, platform businesses, ecommerce, and/or payments
