ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES

British American Tobacco is looking for a Data Analyst in Ukraine who will be part of our Activation (New categories) team!

You will be responsible for data collection, visualisation, and data analysis.

Reports to: Senior Digital Manager

Reporting Level: Individual Contributor

WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR

Data Collection

• Custom request for data extraction using SQL
• Ensure ongoing maintenance and update of data
• Recommend data collection systems and strategies that optimize process efficiency and quality
• Enhance data quality to promote business decision making

Data Visualisation

• Analysis of stakeholder requirements for analytical reports, work with the appropriate members of the lines of business to ensure that the data is relevant and value-added to the enterprise
• Support current reports and create new in Power BI
• Development and maintenance of an automatic reporting system, understand the required data content (input and output), while interpreting that data to help optimize flow

Data analysis

• Facilitate the interpretation of data, to allow for enhanced data analysis
• Search for areas for improvement in the sales/marketing processes from data flows perspective 
• Analytical task, finding relationships and new opportunities

 CAN THIS BE YOUR FUTURE ROLE?  

• Do you rate your English level as upper-intermediate?
• Do you have experience working with Excel + SQL + BI?

 ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• From 2-3 year of experience in BI analytics or related field. Previous related Data Analysis experience is required
• Tools: Excel + SQL + BI (Tableau / Power BI / QLikView)
• Strong systemic and algorithmic thinking
• Knowledge of statistical data analysis methods
• Experience in Data Modelling & Analytics
• Experience with relational SQL databases, Python and ETL frameworks (will be a plus)
• Upper intermediate English communication skills (written and verbal) are required - ability to receive and communicate technical information accurately and timely
• Bachelor’s degree
