DevOps Engineer

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implementation of the infrastructure for variety of cloud platforms
• Implement CI/CD that our product teams need
• Develop infrastructure automation tools eliminate manual effort
• Provide operational support for software deployments
• Define and implement monitoring and logging systems
• Provide best practice of system availability, scalability and self-healing
• Participate in algorithms generalization Collaborate with other R&D, QA, PM both on Lohika and customer side
• Suggest technical and functional improvements to add value to the product
• Assist with system security and compliance
• Tune variety of web-servers, RDBMS, NoSQL, cache approaches and other programming language-specific software

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

• A degree in Computer Science
• 3+ years of DevOps experience
• Confidence with configuration management tools (Azure IaC, Terraform, Ansible)
• Familiarity with general monitoring principles, as well as tools like Prometheus and Grafana
• Commercial experience with Azure
• Experience with containerization solutions (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience with sql databases (PostgreSQL, MSSQL)
• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps & Jenkins is preferable)
• Knowledge of scripting/automation languages (PowerShell/ARM/Python/Bash)
• Strong technical documentation skills; workflows and support documentation
• Well-developed communication & team working skills
• At least Intermediate level of written and spoken English

Will be a plus:

• Azure certifications
• Working experience in AWS cloud platform
• Able to work efficiently and independently with minimal supervision (i.e. self-motivated and willing to stretch to meet important deadlines)
