Investment Manager

UMG INVESTMENTS is an investment company that launches and develops businesses with high growth potential.

We are looking for candidates for a position of Investment Manager at INTECH (industrial portfolio of UMG Investments).

Key targets:

• Full management of the company's investment projects (from the generation of the investment idea to realization of investments and its transition to the portfolio company management).

Responsibilities:

• Identification and development of new investment opportunities - evaluation, structuring, negotiations and investment documents preparation;
• Strategic development of the project, management of the strategy implementation, budgeting, cost optimization and project expenditure control;
• Negotiations with business partners and government authorities;
• Selection of the team for effective tasks implementation within the framework of the project;
  
• Risk management related to the project implementation.

Professional background:

• The perfect candidate for this position is a professional with a successful practical experience in the investment projects management;
• Relevant experience in private equity funds, venture capital funds, family offices and institutional investors, or in corporate finance/investment departments at large financial and industrial groups;
• Knowledge of corporate law, M&A process, and due diligence process are required;
  
• Operating business experience is preferable.

Education:

• Degree in Finance and/or Economics;
• CFA charter or MBA degree is an advantage.

Key skills and expertise:

• Team management skills;
• Strong analytical skills, structured and consistent thinking;
• Financial modelling, business valuation and financial analysis;
• Deal structuring and good understanding of the investment process;
• Experience in working with CapitalIQ, MergerMarket, Bloomberg is highly preferred;
• Good communication and interpersonal relationship skills;
• Fluent Business English;
  
• Willingness to travel extensively in Ukraine and abroad.
