Accountant / Bookkeeper

General Overview:

AEEA Kyiv is looking for an energetic and motivated person to join our team.

As accountant you'll be responsible for performing various accounting duties and tracking financial operations in QuickBooks and POS system for all AEEA business units (non VAT retail and service field).

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Overseeing accounting functions and petty cash funds; 
• Reconciliation of bank accounts and petty cash funds;
• Managing accounting records (QuickBooks); 
• Preparing monthly payroll; 
• Accounting for inventory (POS system);
• Preparation of monthly financial statements;
• Preparation of complete set of half-annual and annual financial statements;
• Overseeing end of year audit process.

 Required Qualification and experience: 

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or similar is preferred;
• Retail store experience would be a plus;
• Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, Word and other relevant software programs;
• Served as an Accountant in a revenue (cash) generating activity;
• Fluent (written & oral) English (3/3 level);
• Sound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting principles (GAAP)
