Senior Civil\Structural Engineer

An engineering company with a core business in oil and gas industry is seeking a qualified candidate for full time work in the position of Senior Civil\Structural Engineer in the company's head offices in Kiev.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Elaboration of civil/structural design documents, such as specifications, drawings, layouts, Plans&Sections, MTOs, MRs, during different engineering stage. Execution of civil/structural calculation;
• Civil/structural calculations, such as foundation calculations, structural steel calculations, building calculations;
• Designer's supervision at site during the construction phase (be ready for business trips);
• Preparation of As-Built documentation package;
• Expert review of design documentation within the framework of the project engineering support services. Review/approval of main design concepts of facilities and metal structures; verification of strength analysis; checking of outgoing engineering documentation for conformity with the Terms of Reference, Project Specifications, applicable standards and codes;
• Ensure adherence to professional civil/structural engineering codes, standards, and local authorities legislation.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering;
• Have at least 5 years of relevant technical experience with civil/structural engineering projects, in designing different types of concrete and steel structures (Off-shore and/or On-shore facilities);
• Min. 3 years experience of working to international civil\structural standards (Euro building code, etc.) for industrial facilities;
• Knowledge of and practical work with TEKLA and Autodesk family software packages are a must;
• Knowledge of and practical work with SCAD\STAAD Pro\LIRA MONOMACH\ ROBOT\SAP 2000 software are desirable;
• A valid design engineer qualification certificate would be a benefit;
• Intermediate level of English and upper; knowledge of other foreign languages would be a plus;
