QA engineer

Responsibilities:

• Manual testing of current project - Black box testing, Functional testing, Regression testing, Smoke testing,Integration testing
• Analyzing the testing results and writing brief reports
• Writing and updating test documentation (checklists, test cases)
• Reporting bugs in Jira
• Tracking the issues during the defects life cycle
• Communication with team, clarification of the requirements
• Participating in stand-up meetings

Requirements:

Mandatory:

• 2 + years experience in manual QA testing
• Experience in web applications testing
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and good understanding of Agile development process
• Experience in creating testing artifacts (mainly checklists)
• Experience in analysis of requirements
• Strong communication skills
• Intermediate (or higher) English level

Optional:

• Knowledge of at least one programming language (desirably php or js);
• Hands-on experience in using auto-testing tool for web testing (desirable Selenium) is a plus;
• Technical university degree is a plus.
