Chief Operating Officer (Industrial Projects)

Our client, a large Ukrainian industrial group, is looking for a Chief Operating Officer (Industrial Projects).

Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the overall product delivery schedule including the manufacturing pipeline, job scheduling, materials planning, production, test and delivery of final product.
• Creating and building an organizational structure including recruiting, hiring, coaching and developing staff.
• Work closely with product design/engineering, sales and marketing to ensure products are process and design compliant
• Take a leadership role in optimization strategies in the areas of planning, manufacturing, test, and corporate processes
• Oversee and direct day-to-day management of outsourced manufacturing as well as procurement, materials management, product verification and testing, quality assurance, customer service and satisfaction.
• Judicious selection, introduction and implementation of continuous improvement processes and advanced manufacturing tools and systems.
• Supervise the facilities maintenance and expansion.
• Prepare and submit an annual operational budget, manage effectively within this budget, and report accurately on progress made and challenges encountered
• Develop strategic, tactical and operational decisions supported by management accounting information
• Quality management, logistics, information systems and human resource management.
• Operations extend from the performance management
• Building competency in employee relations within the group

Requirements:

• Higher education in\or Business, Finance or related field
• A track record of achieving profitable industrial growth is required
• Ability to business decisions, evaluate organizational performance
• Analytic and decisive decision maker with the ability to prioritize and communicate to staff key objectives and tactics necessary to achieve organizational goals. Excellence in organizational management
• Ability to analyze a business opportunity, and develop a successful strategy to acquire new business
• Demonstrated knowledge of business and accounting concepts including but not limited to ROI, P&L statements, balance sheets, interest and leasing calculations, and margin responsibilities
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and to create cross-functional alignment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; a persuasive and passionate communicator with excellent public speaking skills.
• Action-oriented, entrepreneurial, flexible, and innovative approach to operational management
• Good English, in addition to Ukrainian and Russian
