For our client, a large key national production company (FMCG, food), we are looking for a Key Accounts Manager to join the Commercial Department.


The Key Accounts Manager role requires the skillsets of category management and business operations as well as quality communications with the company's key accounts.


The Key Accounts Manager will be responsible for managing financial and operational goals, measuring performance metrics, and building strong internal and external relationships.




  • Create and manage the Annual Business Plans by identifying assortment needs, and securing marketing placements
  • Continuously monitor performance.
  • Provide internal performance reporting and host regular external partner meeting to effectively communicate performance and pivots
  • Partner with category leads to understand assortment needs
  • Develop and implement merchandising program strategies in partnership with cross functional teams to ensure achievement of short and long term business objectives.
  • Manage and drive communication of new program rollouts ensuring that all parties are prepared to execute on time as required.
  • Identify partners for testing and elevate gaps and risks to leadership.
  • Partner with category, technology, product and marketing teams
  • Partner with technical support team to resolve any account technical issues
  • Ensure the alignment of multiple cross-functional teams to ensure the achievement of business objectives
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity




  • University degree in business, economy or related field
  • 5+ years experience in key account management, retail buying, site merchandising, merchandise planning, or related field
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Self-directed, well organized and have good follow-up skill
  • Excellent written and oral communication & presentation skills
  • Passion for serving customers and understanding their needs
  • Detail-oriented and strong follow-through
