Embedded Software Engineer

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A US-based company, manufacturer, and leading provider of modern high-speed multi-metal additive manufacturing is looking for an Engineer responsible for creating both scalable and optimized embedded software systems regulating an advanced state-of-the-art metal 3D printer.

This position implies full software development life cycle ownership, which comprises planning, system analysis & requirements, system design, development, integration, testing, implementation, and further maintenance.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

3+ years of experience in embedded systems creation and support

EDUCATION: BS/MS in Electrical Engineering

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong С++ programming skills

• Hands-on experience in development and troubleshooting on real-time embedded systems is an asset

• Intermediate speaking, reading, and writing skills in English

• Expertise in Simulink Real-Time and Speedgoat target machine usage is an asset

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and implement software on embedded devices and systems from planning the requirements to production and commercial deployment

• Provide proactive debugging for system software by identifying problems, isolating source code, and performing the actual fixing

• Test, analyze, and enhance software efficiency, stability, and functionality

• Adapt hardware design interfaces to meet the manufacturing demands and terms

• Negotiate and manage the collaboration with external development partners
