Oracle Database Administrator

Your Tasks will include:

• Participating (mostly remotely) in creation, migration, upgrade, administration, monitoring of our customers Oracle Databases in on-premise and cloud environments
• Creation, improvement, upgrade, administration, monitoring, troubleshooting of our company Oracle Databases in on-premise and cloud environments
• Second level support of our customers IT personnel
• Support of our team members: software developers, using Oracle Database

Your Profile:

• Profound knowledge and experience in Oracle Database Server 11gR2 / 12cR2 / 19c administration and troubleshooting, first of all
  1. Database backup and recovery
  2. Database upgrade and migration
  3. Database monitoring
  4. Database performance optimization
• Deep knowledge of Operation Systems Windows Server and Linux in connection with Oracle Database
• Deep knowledge and experience in programming with SQL, PL/SQL und Unix/Windows scripting languages
• Knowledge and experience in Amazon AWS RDS Oracle administration are very desirable
• Open to learn and take over responsibility for other IT infrastructure related areas, which are not related to Oracle Database Server
• Good analytical, communication and troubleshooting skills

• Good verbal and written English communication skills
