Reporting Analyst

Quipu GmbH is German IT consultancy and software development company, which provides comprehensive end-to-end solutions for banks and financial institutions, from electronic payments to software systems. Our company operates from 8 regional offices around the world. Quipu is a subsidiary of ProCredit Holding.

To support our team in Kiev, we are looking for а Reporting Analyst

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Understand the banks reporting workflow and general business in order to act as direct counterpart for business users;
• Trace back reporting results through several databases and systems back to the originating source records;
• Develop new and make appropriate changes in existing reports for local and National bank reporting;
• Analyze complex problems presented by software users (both business and technical) and propose solutions to solve them;
• Test new software versions in the context of a specific bank before their implementation;
• Support new implementations and upgrades of existing installations;
• Train software users and system support staff from business level usage down to database administration.

Requirements:

• Good knowledge of SQL databases, especially on data analysis;
• Good English knowledge both spoken and written;
• Demonstrate complex problem solving, critical thinking, and decision-making;
• Demonstrate attention to details and time management skills.

Would be an advantage:

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or Information Science or   Economics/Finance;
• Experience in Banking sector/Financial organization;
• Understanding and experience in credit risk analysis;
• Programming skills in some object oriented programming language;
• Basic knowledge of Python;
• Understanding and experience with SSAS.
