Middle QA Automation

Ubiquiti Inc is an American technology company started in 2005. Based in New York, NY, Ubiquiti manufactures wireless data communication products for enterprise and wireless broadband providers with a primary focus on under-served and emerging markets.

Requirements:

• 3 years of software testing experience, at least 2 years of QA Automation using Python.
• Solid knowledge of Python.
• Experience with Python test frameworks (PyTest, Robot, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes.
• Experience with CI/CD (Jenkins + Pipeline, GitHub CI/CD, etc.).
• Experience with SQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.).
• Strong L2/L3 networking expertise.
• Good knowledge of Linux administration and shell scripting.
• Experience with testing of embedded systems.
• Upper-intermediate level of spoken and written English.

Will be a plus:

• Hands-on experience of working with hardware traffic generators (IXIA/Spirent/Xena etc.).
• Experience with virtualization technologies (QEMU, Docker, etc.).
• Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, CouchDB, etc.).
• Good team player who can work both independently and as part of a team with ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement wide variety of test scripts.
• Take part in test planning and estimation.
• Extend functionality of Python test framework.
• Adapt and create tools to support new features/hardware.
