Job Description

The Digital marketing specialist UA/CE reports to the Commercial program & Digital marketing manager UA&CE. The specialist will be responsible for digital communication and online presence/activities for KC brands in all countries, namely: Ukraine, Moldova and Central Europe.

This specialist will contribute to consumer-inspired digital media strategy development and digital plans execution in markets by working closely with cross-functional and multi-national teams: digital agencies located in every country as well as with UA&CE marketing teams.

In broad terms, the primary purpose and function of the role is to:

  • Convert brand strategy to digital communication plan that grows brand awareness, brand trust and loyalty across UA&CE region
  • Develop and support strong actionable digital ecosystem per each brand, where digital communication is smartly incorporated into consumer journey.
  • Cooperate with UA&CE media agencies, responsible for Digital media placement according to annual communication plan
  • In coop with Acquisition & Retention manager and E-com team, drive digital 1st party data acquisition through digital channels.
  • Lead the innovative campaigns: initiate, execute and control.

Key accountabilities and business priorities:

  • In cooperation with Brand Manger developing creative materials for brand communication in corresponding media channels: search, social, YouTube, brand.com etc.
  • Ensures that developed materials are personalized with high engagement rate
  • Responsible for update/maintenance of brand website. Grow organic traffic by SEO improvement, registrations via performance campaigns.
  • Responsible for the launch of brand web sites in CE countries.
  • Drive WOM through cooperation with bloggers, influencers. In cooperation with BM and creative agencies create viral content, #challenges that boost shared media.
  • Manage consumer complains via hotline and social.
  • Develop review management scheme on comparison sites, forums + key e-com clients. Overlook UGC videos - unpacking, home tests, testimonials, other, create positive reviews if needed.
  • Prepares monthly/quarterly reports with key digital metrics for UA&CE management and EMEA digital teams
  • Budget management, ensure its effective placement (channel, buying model, timing)

Candidate Profile:

The ideal candidate to be a digital marketing specialist with strong strategic business & brand building foundation, commercialization, analytical and innovation skill set. Highly organized and able to build effective relationship across multiple parties involved, suggest the best approaches under the circumstances, be flexible for changes, able to control and lead the projects to successful execution, have strong project management skills. The candidate should have experience managing third parties and actively support the development of agency teams across UA/CE to maximize success. At the same time, the candidate to be able to initiate campaigns relevant for TA and lead their execution with the deep involvement of brand marketing and agencies.

The candidate should effectively use all available information, be open to learn/adopt/adapt from lead markets and best practices around the region/world.

Skills / competencies:

Digital Marketing Skills:

The successful candidate will have to build, budget, and execute both long-term and short-term digital marketing plans that have resulted in brand awareness and market share growth. He/she will have experience in the following digital marketing activities (targeting, media planning, digital KPIs and google analytics, social media management FB, IG, TikTok, Youtube, digital assets preparation, JIRA ticketing system).

Brand building:

He/she understands principles of classical brand building, identifying, and capitalizing on consumer trends and insights to develop effective digital media strategies to grow brand awareness and engagement. This person should be able to build credibility throughout the local and regional KC teams as well as media and digital agencies.

Qualifications:

Education: marketing / management related education is preferred.

Minimum 2+ years of digital marketing experience on a side of FMCG company or agency that lead big FMCG brands

Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal, relationship-building skills conducive to collaboration remotely.

Works independently based on strategic direction and requires limited direction to complete assignments.

Ability to prioritize and maintain focus in complex and shifting environments.
