Tax and Reporting specialist

We are looking for Tax and Reporting specialist.

Main responsibilities:

I. Tax accounting and reporting

• Review of  Reports to the tax authority:
•   CIT statement of advance payments and working file with reconciliation of tax and accounting basis;
•   VAT return;
• Check and control over deadlines for submission of tax returns and tax payments;
• Control over tax basis and due taxes;
• Tax advising to the accounting department and management. Decision making;
• Tracking of legislative changes, participate in meetings with external auditors and provide information to the management;
• Control over development and automation of tax accounting in 1C system;
• Review CIT & VAT accruals on a monthly basis;
• Contribution to preparation of Corporate Tax reports.

II. Main corporate and reporting responsibilities

• Review of  Corporate monthly closing report:
•   Balance Sheet review;
•   P&L review;
•   Cross checking of booked accruals;
•   Verification of matching local accounts with GAAP accounts;
•   Comparison of GAAP and Local Accounting trial balances. Variance analysis;
•   Verification of expenses allocation to divisions and natural accounts;
•   Verification of correctness of uploading file (HFM);
• Check lists for balance sheets and P&L accounts;
• Comparison of balance sheets accounts and P&L (from HFM) with local JE bookings;
• Developing, maintaining and improving 1C with regards to the corporate reporting requirements;
• Review of Converted Audit Reports (CAR) and Tax Memo, Long view reports with necessary schedules;
• work with Corporate requests (Boycott, Cash Tax payments and other requests).

Requirements:

• Education: University degree in Economics/Finance;
• +3 years' experience in similar area;
• Strong computer skills Windows, Excel, Word;
• Good communication skills;
• Language proficiency: fluent oral and written Ukrainian, Russian and English;
• High-level of accuracy with numbers;
• Results oriented, accurate and punctual, confidential.
