Senior Financial, Investment Analyst

• Job Brief

We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team working full time in the Kiev office. Your role will be working together with our due diligence team analyzing projects presented for investment consideration. You will be required to provide accurate analysis of the information presented by the proposed investment recipient including historical and projected income, company's profitability, solvency, stability and liquidity. You will research and analyze the financial information provided to help investors to make well informed decisions.

Duties and responsibilities

• Performing financial due diligence research and analysis for potential investment opportunity;
• Performing an audit of the financial models provided by the management team and incorporating any potential adjustments;
• Communicating with the clients' management team, analysts, legal counsel, third-party advisors and consultants in order to make a comprehensive analysis of the project from a financial perspective;
• Reporting findings and inconsistencies between the information provided by the management team and information available in the data room;
• Estimating cash flow requirements;
• Providing timely written reports of analysis and recommendations to the Investor and the Client;
• Performing related work as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university with major in business administration, economics, finance, accounting;
• At least 3 years of experience in one of the following areas:
•              - Mergers & Acquisitions;
•              - due diligence (preferably Deloitte, KPMG, PWC, Ernst and Young);
• A proven track record delivering top quality modelling solutions within a project based, client focused environment;
• Strong business diagnostic skills and the ability to apply a logical and analytical approach to problem solving;
• Preferably a CFA and/or ACCA certificate;
• Native or equivalent proficiency in English is a must;
• Advanced Excel user;
• Easy-going and pleasant personality, ability to work in the team and independently;
• Must have experience in the following:
•              - a private equity;
•              - Financial Modelling;
•              - Discounted Cash Flow;
•              - Financial Due Diligence;
•              - Financial Forecasting;
•              - Financial Planning & Analysis;
•              - KPIs;
•              - Valuation methods;
•              - Business Strategy.
