Senior .NET developer

Seezona is the first Scandinavian digital marketplace for luxury fashion, uniting high fashion and high tech under one roof. We enhance the user experience through technologies such as virtual fitting, picture recognition and a mood board creator but also hand pick up-coming designers from all over the world and make them available for purchase on the same platform. To be able to sell small brands that cannot be found anywhere else, we have developed an easy solution for them to jump on board without any tech effort or cost. We are a fashion-tech business, using technology to distance ourselves from a classic retail e-commerce approach. We operate under a drop-shipping model, meaning that we never hold any physical stock and that we can expand our model to a large number of brands at no additional cost.

Kiev team is jointly responsible for the entire web platform and you will get a lot of responsibility and great opportunities to contribute with your own ideas. It is important that you want to be involved and share your ideas, Seezona values ideas and suggestions on how they can become better and more effective.

Technical environment:

Seezona Development/Deploy/Support team consists of 8-10 people.

Seezona is using the following technological stack for applications:

C#, .NET Core (2.0 and 2.1), .Net Framework (4.6), JavaScript ES6, React and Redux, Node.js, Ruby on Rails.

Applications are hosted under the following clouds: Microsoft Azure, AWS, Heroku.

VSTS, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernates frameworks and tools are used to provide continuous integration and deployment process.

Technical requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in backend software development, OO-languages;
• Experience to develop Web API or any other type of web backend application (oData, serviceBus);
• C# and any other backend development enterprise framework;
• OOP patterns, Dependency Injection & IoC Containers;
• EF communication with SQL and NoSQL databases;
• Linq, lambda expressions;
• Understanding of security concerns of Web applications on client and backend sides (JWT tokens, etc);
• Unit and integration testing;
• Good communication skills (English).

Nice to have:

• RabbitMQ or any other MQ solution experience;
• Redis or any other caching experience;
• Microservice Architecture;
• Asynchronous programming;
