Senior devops engineer

We are looking SENIOR DEVOPS ENGINEER  for our client.   

        REQUIREMENTS:

• Extensive knowledge of AWS (AWS certification is a huge plus);

• Deployment, automation, management, and maintenance of the AWS cloud-based production system;

• Ensuring availability, performance, security, and scalability of AWS production systems;

• Management of creation, release, and configuration of production systems;

• Advanced knowledge of best practices related to data encryption and cybersecurity;

• Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines with related tools (DevOps best practices);

• Experience with containers and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker, etc.);

• Automation tooling experience required: Terraform;

• Experience with web-based .net architectures;

• Prior experience with Node.js, Java, and .NET core preferred;

• Comprehensive understanding of networking concepts (layers, firewalls, DNS, VPN, TCP/IP stack, etc.), how to build secure infrastructure, and an awareness of common server security vulnerabilities.

   RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carry out maintenance and development of CI/CD infrastructure in the project;

• Operation and maintenance of production environments;

• Analyze current infrastructure services, apps, used technologies and the tool set, and define gaps and areas for improvement (services as VPC, NACL / SG, VPN, CloudWatch, Lambda, MySQL, Redis, EC2, ELB, Route 53, WAF, CF, API GTW, Config and ACM private etc);

• Work with central log aggregation, log monitoring, and alerting: collect logs, store logs, build dashboards, configure alerting;

• Metrics and performance monitoring and alerting collect metrics, store metrics, build dashboards, configure alerting;

• Investigate alternative solutions.
