Ukrainian/Russian Linguistic Consulting (Work from Home)

Language processing systems .

You know that the language is current. You love practical analysis. For the purpose of the data. With consistent results.

For graduate students. There are multiple positions for linguists and annotators. All positions are remote.

Responsibilities:

• Annotate language data with linguistic information
• Implement annotation conventions and guidelines with consistency
• Communicate with other annotators effective strategies
• Contribute to improvement and improvement
• Understand and adapt to changing requirements

Project Details

Start date : asap

Project hours : 20 hours minimum with 30-40 hours per week for linguists; 20-30 hours per week for annotators

Project length : 18 weeks

Qualifications

• Computational Linguistics, Language Technologies, or related field
• Interesting linguistics, especially syntax, semantics, and pragmatics
• Facility with computers and software applications
• Ability to adapt to changing requirements, priorities, and revisions
• Cooperative, solution-oriented attitude
• Eagerness to learn new skills and work quickly
• Enthusiasm for detail work
• Ability to focus for significant portions of the work day
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Ability to learn fluently and idiomatically
• Candidates in Ukrainian.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree and / or industry experience
• Annotation experience
• Experience with ontologies and label sets
• Experience working remotely
